ABOUT JOWETT INSURANCE BROKERS
Jowett Insurance Brokers is a new start-up brokers situated in South Wales. Its Director Miki has been working in Insurance since 2017 and in that time has quickly gained a vast amount of knowledge within the commercial insurance space working at the likes of Direct Line and Towergate along the way.
THE FUTURE?
It is an exciting time to now be starting a new business, with Covid-19 restrictions slowly lifting across the UK and being able to see clients face to face again.
The pandemic has certainly meant that a lot of SME businesses will have been underserviced in the past year, but through no fault of their broker or insurer. What this means though is that there are a lot of businesses right across the UK that will be keen to speak to a broker face to face again to gain critical advice and ultimately do business with.
Conversely, the pandemic has normalised online meetings via software like Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Areas of the UK that were previously uneconomical to tender for small local brokers are now potentially more open to contact through the use of technology, especially if your offering is spot on for their needs. This really is a fantastic time to start building a book of business.
